Lesson 156, June 5

I walk with God in perfect holiness.

Ideas never leave their Source, so we, as an idea in the One Mind of God, can never be separate from our Source.

We can never walk alone nor can we ever be separate from God’s qualities.

We cannot be separate from God, for there is only one life, the one life that we share with God.

Nothing could live if it was separate from God.

All that is a part of God shares His Holy qualities of love, light, laughter, joy, safety, confidence, serenity, wholeness, abundance, security, grace, and peace.

“As you step back, the light in you steps forward and encompasses the world.”

We are free to walk in holiness with our Father, free to light up the minds of all others who walk with us.

We have held the weight of great trauma and emotional burdens on our shoulders. Feeling alone and helpless, we thought we were powerless to change all of the adverse events and circumstances that seemed to befall us. Thinking that it was up to us to change or fix what wasn’t working in our lives, we felt even more helpless, stuck, and alone.

Yes, we have wasted many years with unforgiving thoughts and feelings, however, now, the past is done.

We are also feeling guilty because we are so consistently forgetful of the truth.

Release all guilt and bless ourselves instead. Let go of everything that was. Let go of all that we are trying to be or not to be.

Practice stepping back so that His Light can step forward.

Become open and receptive to our Identity as the Spiritual truth that is our Source, God.

Feel the Oneness of Love that is wrapped around us like a favorite blanket.

Feel the unifying energy from all of the living things that bring us their gifts of energy.

Today, every hour, or with even greater frequency, let us be willing to ask, “Who walks with us?”

And let us be willing to respond each time by stepping back and saying:

“I walk with God in perfect holiness. I light the world, I light my mind and all the minds which God created one with me.” (8:5-6)
