Only salvation can be said to cure.
There is only one problem, the belief in separation.
There is only one solution, receiving the Holy Spirit’s true perception of Oneness.
Pills, food, exercise, divorce, a different job, insurance, jails, etc. are the protections that we use as our magical solutions. But they only serve to mask symptoms at best and do nothing to address the source of the problem.
Any problem with the body or our circumstances never needs to be cured, healed, fixed, or even changed.
Today’s lesson is asking us to change only one thing—our minds.
See past all appearances and go beyond all of our interfering thoughts.
Stop allowing the unreality of all illusions to disturb our weary minds, with all of their attempts at trying to prove their reality.
All pain and lack scream constantly at us for our attention which is what gives these illusions their ability to prove to us that they are real.
Say, “No!” to all illusions.
Only our attention can make them real.
Never react to them and they will disappear from the lack of attention.
Pray instead to place all attention on God.
See only the light in our mind and radiate it outward towards all.
A healed mind is one that simply knows what it is, and knows that illusions cannot be real.
A healed mind is at one with God.
“With nothing in our hands to which we cling, with lifted hearts and listening minds we pray:
Only salvation can be said to cure.
Speak to us, Father, that we may be healed.”
Father, let today be our last day in exile, the end of separation from You.
All problems and separation are projections of guilt, defenses against God.
All “shoulds” reflect our belief in guilt.
Father, remove the deprivation, guilt, and fear from our minds, and replace them with only an awareness of Your Presence.
Let us remember who we are.
Let us bring all the illusions that we have made real to You, God.
Let us see things differently, knowing what is real and what is not.
Let our most disturbing thoughts move quietly through our minds without making a home there as our mistaken beliefs.
Let our mistaken beliefs be transformed.
Let our minds be still so that we may listen to God’s healing voice that is always speaking to us.
Let us know our Oneness of mind, all joined in the unity of Your Love.
Let us be open to returning our minds to be One with the Holy Spirit in every moment.
Let us pray at the top of every hour.
Holy Spirit, guide us This Moment (TM).
Holy Spirit, heal our minds.
Thank You, Holy Spirit.
