Lesson 47, February 16

God is the strength in which I trust.

The images and circumstances that we see in the world are all there because they are showing us something that we need to learn.

If any kind of chaos erupts or issue arises that demands that we do something, this lesson is teaching us to do nothing. Don’t fix anything or concern ourselves about any situation.

The moment that we do something, then we are depending on our own strength and taking charge of the situation. That is not what we want to do at all.

It is always better to sit quietly and simply ask, “What is this for?”

Becoming still will align our minds with God’s truth even though things appear to be falling apart.

God is the strength in which I trust.

Only God knows the big picture of every situation.

And only God can arrange the details of any situation so that something good comes from the chaos.

We don’t know what to do in any situation, however we can always practice letting go and letting God.

God is the strength in which I trust.

Accept everything in our lives exactly as it is. There is nothing we can do anyway, until we are told what to do.

Practicing not reacting is definitely something that we can do and need to do.

Remember the truth and relax. Practice stilling my mind so that I can listen for any further instructions from God.

Trust that I will be shown what to do, if there is something that I need to do.

God is the strength in which I trust.

This lesson is teaching us to stop having our own agenda.

Why would we need to depend on ourselves, when we have the glorious safety of God always available to us in every moment?

God will not come up with any solutions if we are in His way. Learn to Trust Him and we will expand in our trust and confidence that there is no situation that God cannot handle. Only if we stay out of His way, though.

All that exists is an expression of God. Trust that whatever is happening is always good.

God is our safety in every circumstance.

God is the strength in which I trust.

On our own, we are weak and frail.

But there is a place deep within each of us where God abides and peace prevails.

Our job is to locate this peace from each moment to the next moment.

There can never be any cause for distress as long as we remember to give our trust to God.

Whenever we feel afraid, angry, resentful, regret, confused, or sad, we can be sure that we are attempting to depend only on our own will. That can never achieve beneficial results in any situation.

With God by our side always, what need have we to depend on our weak and frail selves?

The choice is always ours to depend on God, or on our smallness.

Putting God in charge of every situation teaches us to have confidence that every single detail will be handled so that the result works out to be the best outcome for all concerned.

Ask God to lead the way in every instance, and we will be free to experience peace and joy.

Every circumstance is giving us an opportunity to look, not at the situation, but at the belief that created the situation. And as we observe the belief, and then give it to the Holy Spirit, we are given the opportunity to make another choice. By choosing differently, we are changing our mind, and thus will we see different effects.

What a blessing this lesson is! My heart is overflowing with gratitude for it.

God is the strength in which we trust.

Thank you, God, for having your strength to depend on.
